Brigitta's first cold and Msia Trip continue
Wow..am so sorry for not posting earlier. Was just totally busy. I mean..TOTALLY!!
Kevin got sick, then Brigitta got sick and this is the first time that she's really sick, one time her fever went up to 104 degrees which made me scared. She's so helpless and couldn't communicate on where she hurts and that just makes my heart ache. I used two thermometer, the one under the arm and the temporal artery one that takes the forehead temp and claim to be very accurate. The temporal thermometer doesn't really work well for babies below 6 months but it is much easier to use and is about the same as the under the arm one. I just used both coz I wanted to be extra careful. It was also the first time I used the bulb syringe on her congestion. She really cries like she's hurting whenever I do that and always has that startled look in her eyes that made me scared if I did something wrong. Her pediatrician said all babies do that. But, I was swearing at that saline solution pump, it's great when it works but sometimes it gets stuck, and made it so difficult esp with a squirming, crying baby. I wanted to tear my hair out. Still, it's the best one out there. That week was the trial by fire as one book calls it and I know exactly what it means. She's totally better now but I freak out if anyone sick is near her.
Aside from that, we also went to Yosemite, but that's for another post. I still want to put up photos of my friends and family during my Malaysia trip. The second week was dedicated to them, and also selling my apt in Bangi. My itinerary was really filled up and unfortunately, I was not able to meet everyone. I even had to turn down a dinner invite by my friend's Mom and my high school buddies which made me feel really bad. On the other hand, I am really happy that my college buddies decided to a mini reunion party so that we all can meet at one time. And this time around, I managed to meet a lot more of my family members. After so many deaths in my family, that's the number one priority.

My good buddies, met them when I was working in HP. Su and Linda. Linda had her baby just a few weeks after me but she already has her old figure! Maybe it's the Msian post natal confinement and massages. Jealous me!

We're so lucky to have friends who hosted dinner for us and our mutual friends. This one was at Amin and Freida's house. They stayed at our house when they came to the Bay Area last year.
Hanging out at my cousin's place. He's the chinese guy..ha ha. Rahim is mix chinese-malay and his wife, Elaine is South African. So their boys are a real mix. :) I think this is totally awesome. Our grandfather would have been so happy.

Missing my family and friends all the time but this was a great trip and am happy for the great times. Here we are at the airport getting ready to go back.
